Energy efficiency is a key aspect for us

Our reduction path for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions

LUCOBIT's climate protection targets are in line with the Paris Agreement. The reduction path for our own direct and indirect emissions (Scopes 1 and 2) corresponds to a 1.5-degree target.

Specifically, the target is as follows:
We will reduce our CO₂ emissions in Scopes 1 and 2 by 42 per cent by 2030 (base year 2022). We will reduce our Scope 3 emissions by 30 per cent in the same period compared to the base year 2022.

CO₂ emissions are to be completely avoided by 2050.

We have been taking part in the sustainability assessment by the EcoVadis rating agency since 2010 and were awarded the "Committed Badge" for our CSR and sustainability management in the current assessment period. Every year, around 45,000 suppliers from 190 industries worldwide are analysed.

For us at LUCOBIT AG, the responsible and sustainable use of natural resources is an integral part of our daily activities. For this reason, we welcome the new European chemicals legislation REACH, which came into force on 1 June 2007.
